For the first time UTG Private Aviation FBO at Domodedovo Airport is to increase the number of aprons

UTG Private Aviation, fix-based operator (FBO) at Domodedovo airport, together with the airfield group of Domodedovo airport, completed the first stage of reconstruction of paved apron adjacent to the business aviation terminal. Within a large scale renovation of the UTG PA center’s infrastructure there were reparatory works realized on the apron. These were carried out by applying the technology of a fast-setting concrete. The acting identification lines were restored and the aircraft parking points were covered with a new asphalt pavement. The very aim of these works accomplished is to improve the current performance of the apron’s pavement within the business aviation center’s operating area and to modify the acting parking scheme for making receipts of more sizeable aircraft. Also the very number of acting parking points and temporary placement positions will be increased in order to optimize and reduce the time required for ground handling of business jets. Until the end of the summer all pavement reparatory works will be completely finished and remaining parts of the identification lines will be laid on. Thereby, for the first time the existing scheme of aircraft parking will be modified, the very number of parking stands will be augmented and ground maneuvering opportunities will improve. “The UTG PA business aviation center’s apron reconstruction is hugely important for developing business aviation infrastructure at Domodedovo airport. Jointly, with our mutual efforts we increase the attractiveness of this aviation hub as for aircraft operators as for crews and passengers,” comments by Elena Zhdanova, UTG PA Executive Director.
